Christina Dienst was born in Munich, Germany where she initially studied law and history. Her love for art and design led her to a more creative career choice and after spending time studying in Tokyo and working with fashion icon Anna Sui in New York she graduated with a fashion degree from ESMOD International.
2009 Christina became the Head of Design at Philipp Plein in Switzerland, designing and coordinating the women's, men's and kid's collections. The luxury brand took her leather expertise to the next level but also inspired her to seek more conscious and environment friendly practices.
Christina relocated to Los Angeles in 2013 where she consulted high-end brands and functioned as the Design Director of Anine Bing.
Her work has been featured in international campaigns and editorials including Vogue, ELLE, L'Officiel, GQ, L'Uomo Vogue, Interview, Grazia, Glamour, Vanity Fair and Harper's Bazaar. Her collections for Phillip Plein were shown in Milan Fashion week and her designs have been worn by countless celebrities over the years.
Wanting to focus on her passion for leather and delicate craftsmanship as well as her love for avant-garde design Christina Dienst established her own namesake brand in 2018 in Los Angeles, California.
"It's a both exciting and challenging time for the fashion world. A transition from the profit and social media driven industry that demands everything faster and more spectacular to a mindful and sustainable form of art."
